We offer two main highlight packages, and your colorist will recommend the right one based on the look you want.
Partial Highlights: Starting at $90
Partial highlights focus on specific sections of your hair. Usually the top layers, the face frame, and the crown area. This is a great option if you want brightness and dimension where it is most visible without processing your entire head. Partial highlights are faster, lighter on your hair, and more affordable. They work especially well for clients who want a natural, sun-kissed effect concentrated around the face.
Full Highlights: Starting at $110
Full highlights cover your entire head from front to back, top to bottom. This option gives you maximum brightness and overall lift. If you want to go significantly lighter or create dramatic contrast with your base color, full highlights are the way to go. The appointment takes longer because your colorist is working with more sections, but the result is thorough and even.
Both services include a toner application to fine-tune the finished shade. Toner is what takes your highlights from "just lightened" to polished. It controls warmth, adds cool tones if desired, and makes the final color look intentional.
How Highlights Differ from Balayage
Highlights use foils. Your colorist isolates individual strands, wraps them in foil, and applies lightener. This gives precise, controlled placement and consistent brightness from root to tip.
Balayage is freehand painting without foils. It creates a softer, more blended look with less defined lines of contrast.
Some clients prefer one over the other. Many of our clients combine both techniques for maximum dimension. During your consultation, your colorist will look at your hair and talk through which approach gives you the result you are picturing.

From Imperial, head east on Route 30 (Steubenville Pike). The salon is at 7014 Steubenville Pike in Oakdale. Depending on where you are starting in Imperial, the drive takes about 10 minutes. It is a straight shot with no turns, no highway ramps, and no toll roads.
There is a free parking lot right at the salon. If you are coming from closer to the Findlay Township side of Imperial, the drive may be even shorter.
Timing Your Highlight Appointment
A partial highlight appointment runs about 90 minutes to two hours. Full highlights can take two to three hours depending on your hair length and the amount of lifting needed. Plan accordingly and know that your colorist will not rush the process. The precision is what makes the difference.
Most highlight clients come back every 8 to 12 weeks, depending on how quickly their roots grow and how much contrast they want to maintain. Your colorist will recommend a maintenance schedule that fits your hair and your budget.
