We recommend booking your bridal hair and makeup at Plush Salon 3 to 6 months before your wedding date. This gives us time to schedule a trial run, secure your preferred stylist for the wedding day, and make any adjustments based on your trial results. Peak wedding season in the Pittsburgh area runs from May through October, and popular dates fill up quickly, so earlier booking is better. Do you offer a trial run?

Yes. We always recommend a trial run appointment 4 to 6 weeks before the wedding day. The trial lets you see the final look with your stylist, make any adjustments to style, volume, or makeup tones, and feel confident that everything will be exactly how you want it on your big day. During the trial at our Oakdale, PA salon, we suggest bringing inspiration photos, your veil or hair accessories, and wearing a top or dress with a similar neckline to your wedding dress. Trial appointments typically take 60 to 90 minutes. The cost is $65 for a bridal hair or makeup trial.

Can you accommodate my bridal party?

Absolutely. Plush Salon can handle bridal parties of any size. We have multiple stylists available for wedding day appointments, and we build a detailed schedule based on your ceremony time to make sure everyone is finished with time to spare. Bridesmaid hair and makeup packages start at $95, and we offer group pricing for parties of 4 or more. Let us know how many people need hair and makeup when you book so we can allocate enough stylists and time slots. We also accommodate mothers of the bride and groom, flower girls, and other special guests.

Do you travel to the venue?

Contact us to discuss on-location bridal services. Our stylists can travel to hotels, venues, and getting-ready locations in the greater Pittsburgh area, including popular venues in Robinson Township, Moon Township, Bridgeville, and the surrounding western suburbs. Availability depends on the date, location, distance from our Oakdale salon, and the size of your bridal party. A travel fee applies for locations outside the Oakdale area. Many brides prefer having their party come to our salon for a more relaxed experience with full access to our equipment and products. We are happy to discuss both options.
